Dotwalker features

Imagine a toolbox or kind of Swiss knife. Just like the knife can help you survive in the wilderness, DotWalker offers many useful features that help you on your exploration of the world outside. Though it cannot replace guide dog, its accuracy can be impaired at times, there is much to use on your travel.

It can guide you as you move through a city, announing addresses, streets, intersections, shops and other amenities.
You can use compass to get the idea what is around you.
You can get the points of interest in your neighbourhood.
You can create or download a route to go to your destination.
You can download a map with places that will be announced.
You can use gestures, headset buttons, keyboard or voice command to get the information you need.
This list would go on. Like any versatile tool, you must try it.

This does not mean the DotWalker is perfect. It is a continuous development based on meeting changing technology with changing needs that makes a tool useful.
